Chapter 327 Revisions (Licensing Law) -

Chapter 327 is the section of the Missouri statutes that deals with the professional licensure of Architects, Engineers, Land Surveyors and Landscape Architects. We often find it necessary to open this chapter for the purpose of technical clarification of the language or the addition of new language to address specific events or respond to our changing needs as practitioners. This year's legislation addresses several issues relating to the functioning of the Board and codifies some of what had, until now, been rules of the Board.

ALERTS
HB2305 and SB1000 have been filed in the state legislature seeking to sweep specified amounts (approximately $27 million) existing in twenty-three named funds and transferred into the state general revenue fund before June 30, 2011.
Our licensing board is among those targeted, to lose $1,640,000 of the funds we contribute with our fees for its operation.
